Lebanese Red Cross: Israel Targeted Christian Area in Northern Lebanon - The strike hit a residential building in the majority Christian village of Aitou, which was reported as a single explosion on a building rented out two weeks ago.
LEBANON - The Lebanese Red Cross reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted a Christian majority area located in Northern Lebanon. The initial report by the Red Cross said 18 people were killed in the strike, but an updated figure given by Lebanese health officials said at least 21 people had been killed in the strike and 8 injured.
The strike hit a residential building in the majority Christian village of Aitou, which was reported as a single explosion. A BBC report stated that multiple families that had been displaced due to the war had relocated to Aitou, and that the house that was targeted had been rented out to new people just two weeks prior to the strike.
The official Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that a “residential apartment” was targeted in the strike.
A Lebanese security source told AFP that the building was “targeted shortly after a man had arrived in a car,” indicating that the strike on the location was intentional.
Although Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently announced Israel would, “Continue to strike Hezbollah without mercy everywhere in Lebanon - including Beirut,” thus far Israel has largely avoided striking Christian-majority areas in the region.
Netanyahu also said, “Everything is according to operational considerations. We have proven this recently and we will continue to prove it in the coming days as well”.
We’ve been unable to locate any reports by the Israeli military claiming responsibility for a strike in that location.
Recent targeted strikes by Israel on residential buildings have generally been on locations where Hezbollah officials or militants. Both the Hezbollah and Hamas terrorist organizations are are known to hide in, or carry out their operations from civilian locations for a couple of reasons:
Hiding within civilian locations makes it more difficult to be targeted without inflicting civilian casualties in the process.
Civilian casualties once inflicted can be then used in Hezbollah or Hamas propaganda campaigns in their information war on Israel.
This report will be updated if there are any more updates on the strike. . I found this on the following Defcon Level global threat monitor page:

Bien sûr. Les chrétiens du moyen Orient sont autant défendus que les salopes crouilles palestiniennes dans les merdias et l'opinion publique (spoiler : les dhimmis de ton genre de France et du monde se branlent d'eux). Précision : j'encule les judokas mais je hais encore plus les dhimmis.
