Mais vu qu'ils ne trouvent pas de cadavre, et du coup durant la conférence de presse internationale du 7 juin, Joukov dit qu'aucun des cadavre identifié n'a pu être celui d'Hitler. Et qu'il a pu possiblement s'échapper par avion.

Honnêtement, la raison la plus probable c'est qu'en voulant laisser planer le doute sur une fuite potentielle du H vers l'ouest, il prépare déjà la guerre froide, entre d'un côté l'antifascisme de l'URSS qu'il opposerait plus facilement aux occidentaux, qui seraient présentés comme le camp de la compromission avec le nazisme, etc....
