Of the 1.2 million RSA beneficiaries who will be registered with France Travail on January 1st 2025, a fraction
will be oriented towards a social pathway (category F) and will probably remain inactive as defined by the
Employment Survey, which will have no effect on the measurement of employment and the unemployment
rate.

As long as they are registered in the waiting category (category G), new registrants will not be required to
update France Travail on a monthly basis and will not be required to exercise the hours of activity stipulated by
law for full employment.
