Look, Uwe Boll movies are inherently flawed by nature, but in some twisted way, that’s exactly what makes them enjoyable. Is Citizen Vigilante actually a good movie? I have no idea. It's an Uwe Boll film, and frankly, that's the only rating that I can give it.
As Armie Hammer he says in the film, "I think it's the bad ones that came here." He says everything innocent victims of rape and murder, including families, friends and observers of the victims, want to say and see done after getting no justice in the courts. Best part was the judge getting his due. The government has betrayed the people. This film points out its raison d'être is to control, not protect.
Excellent! A must-see. Highly recommended. A masterclass in moral tension. Eschewing cheap revenge thrills for a searing character study, it transforms vigilantism from fantasy into a harrowing question of conscience. Ferocious lead performances and lean, claustrophobic direction make this essential, thought-provoking cinema. It lingers long after the gavel falls. Watch it more than once, share it with others, and take a long, hard look at the reality happening in Europe.
I am shocked this film was made. It tells the truth that the European government’s are desperately trying to hide from its own people. Look for UK and France to ban it next.
Absolutely amazing cinema. I especially like the part where he yeeted the entire muzzy rapist family. 10/10
